SUPERNATURAL SEASON 9

The CW's Supernatural, starring Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, has taken both the Winchester's and the audience on many twists and turns, but what happened during the last episode in Season 9 no one saw coming. The loss of this character was almost as shocking as losing Bobby Singer.

I almost gave up on this series after the cartoon episode and again with the 'twist' on Dorothy from Oz. But they won my heart again with the development of the story of Cass losing his grace and his journey to get it back and bring the angels into a harmonious union once again.

This has been a breath of fresh air for many who thought the Winchester men were done. Not to mention the many, many schedule changes that I believed were an attempt to get the fans to stop tuning in so the show could go away peacefully. But no, we kept tuning in no matter the day or time, and now the show is back on track.

Sam is back in the hot seat (and even more gorgeous than ever), while Dean is once again both his brothers' keeper and the one to get him in the mess in the first place. Theirs is a bond that is built on love, but always tense as each tries to become the men they should be and what is expected of them.

Castiel has been through hell and he is well on his way back. His vessel has been tortured and he has lost many of his brethren, but he has proven to be a fighter. I like the storyline they have chosen for his character. The whole confused, pure as driven snow, act was getting on my nerves. He is supposed to be an angel, not a doofus. At first, all of the 'Oh, he doesn't understand our human ways' act was fine, but how long could it possibly take something so powerful to 'get it'?

Well, as we say goodbye to one character, we look forward to the rest of the series. Those of you in Ohio can catch Supernatural on Tuesdays at 9pm on the CW. Now go do something Idjits!!!
